Keep Calm – now that is a funny what with the mad run up to Christmas 🙂 But I do love these posters by Celeste Smith she has them as free downloads on her blog and they are brilliant, there are some talented ladies out there on the web and the fact they share their talents with us all is fantastic. I also couldn’t resist the “Keep Calm and Let it Snow” one after all the cold weather we have had.
Over at Second Street another talented lady called Kalleen has these Believe banners to download which is now decorating the mirror in the front room.
Even the shed has gone all festive – the boys have lights and a small wreath on the door – it looks like Santa’s grotto out there in the snow.
We have been busy with School Concerts and Nativity Plays first up was Rachel, hers was a concert because bless them they had no time to practise much else with the snow and the virus that went through school but it all went well – no tears at all ( a little Christmas miracle ). Caitlin was yet again singing in the Nativity and had to be there even though she was ill with a sore throat.
We also decided to try Hot Chocolate on a stick thanks to another Internet whizz Amberlee over at the Giver’s Log It makes a change to reindeer poop that is for sure.
And Rachel was even impressed – we tested one out just to be sure they worked you understand and it made some yummy hot chocolate.
We ended up making 30 for the class and Caitlin will be giving them out on the last day as usual. We made ours using an ice-cube tray and skewers cut down to size , I found a star ice-cube tray which I have used to make some for Becca when her friends come over for their present exchange this Thursday after school.
When we aren’t making hot chocolate on a stick I am decorating the house – this is the front door ( I actually added a garland around the door today but have yet to take a picture)
The Dresser is covered in Christmas cheer and our Christmas cards 🙂
