Good Morning, hope you are all keeping well, welcome to Menu Planning Monday. if you have no idea what menu planning is about and how it can save you lots of money click HERE and if you would love more menus and ideas link up with I am an Organizing Junkie where they do a Menu Planning Monday link up HERE
The weather is getting chillier so soup and casseroles are appearing on the Menu Planning Monday here on Snapshot and Snippets.
My youngest had to have dental surgery on Friday so is needless to say a still a bit sore – so she needs softer foods like porridge, scrambled eggs ect. So breakfast for dinner is the perfect thing to cover that problem.
This Tummy warming stew is perfect for a cold and chilly Autumn day and is cooked in the slow cooker to make life easier. It is also soft enough especially when served with mash potatoes for a certain someone.
Sometimes when I have leftover mince I make up home made burgers – they are so easy and you can store them in the Freezer – hopefully Friday will mean that Cait has recovered and can eat these as they are her favourite and also it is the start of Virginia Pumpkin festival
and quick and easy meals will be require to fill people up before they head out to enjoy the festivities.
Sometimes when you are in a hurry having a prepared meal in the freezer is so handy and this Chicken and white wine dish is so easy, you just dump the ingredients in the slowcooker and leave for a few hours. To learn more about Freezer cooking Irish Style click HERE
Nothing nicer after a Roast dinner with all the trimmings than a slice of something nice and sweet and this Moist Apple cake
is just the ticket – perfect with Vanilla Ice-cream or custard, it is a little slice of heaven.
Well that is it for another week of Menu Planning Monday – hope you like my choices and recipes see you next week.
